Catherine Scott (owner of Scott Family Childcare and Learning Center) is committed to childcare as a profession.

She is a respected leader not only in Los Angeles County but throughout the state and nationally. She is often called upon by organizations and individuals to teach seminars and speak to childcare issues. Catherine is the owner of Scott Family Childcare Learning Center (19 years) NAFCC Accredited 2004-2007.

She is a Mentor Teacher for the California Early Child hood Mentor
Teacher Program holding a Site Supervisor Permit.  While maintaining a successful Family Childcare she is also Executive Director, LONGBEACH,
Vice President, Scott Marketing Group Inc., and Scott Consulting Services.

Education: Currently enrolled in the Bachelor's Degree program in Human Development at Pacific Oaks college (2009); working towards a Masters in Human Development with a specialization in infant/toddler development and adult training, teaching and leadership.
