On February 13, 1973 the "California Federation of Family Day Care Association, Inc. " was formed as a State wide organization. Our firm belief is that as a State wide, non- profit, organization we can accomplish more for the Licensed Family Day Care Providers, and the children in their care. |
THE PURPOSE OF THE CALIFORNIA FEDERATION
- To establish a central organization to bring together the Family Day Care Provider, and interested community citizens who wish to work for the same purpose.
- To study, coordinate, and communicate all matter pertaining to the welfare of the day care licensees, and the children in their care.
- To provide for the general welfare of children everywhere.
- To provide technical assistance, and information, concerning the formation, and operation, of the Family Day Care Home.
- To develop a better understanding of the problems of the Family Day Care homes, and the general public using the services.
- To provide information pertaining to zoning problems. Business permits, and deductions that may be claimed on the Family Day Care Tax Return.
- To inform Family Day Care Providers of current, and potential. Regulation regarding their business.
- To raise the image of the Family Day Care.
- To be more professional in business dealing with parents of the children who are cared for in Family Day Care.
